Your Practitioner Susan Britton (UKOM, MAc SCA)

Susan Britton was inspired to study Traditional Chinese Medicine because of the influence of treatment on her own health. Susan was trained in Acupuncture and Tui Na massage by Maria Mercati, founder of the Bodyharmonics Centre in Cheltenham. Maria is a leading exponent and teacher of both Tui Na and Acupuncture and the author of numerous books on the subject of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Susan has subsequently completed a Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture course at The College of Chinese Medicine in London. Susan is a registered member of both the Acupuncture Society and UK Oriental Medical Professional Practitioners.

Susan is now committed to the lifelong pursuit of furthering her knowledge. Her involvement in Chinese Medicine has developed into a path of personal growth, learning and discovery. She states that there are many rewards and benefits to be gained from practicing Chinese Medicine, the main one being that it is a fantastic “life skill” to possess, the ability to help others without the use of Medicines, drugs or invasive treatments.
